Hello scrappy friends, I have a layout to share with you today that I did for The Studio Challenges.  Their second challenge for this month is a summer theme! Summer around here means hanging out at the pool with friends! They stopped long enough for me to snap this quick picture of them. They love playing in the pool! Here is my layout:

The supplies I used for this are Kaisercraft, Ranger Ink, Bo Bunny, Ali Edwards, Jillibean Soup and other things from my stash.  Thanks for stopping by!

Fun in the Sun/Stuck?! Challenge

Hello! I have a layout that I wanted to share with you.  I did this one for the Stuck?! challenge.  I love this sketch! Here it is along with my layout:

We did not have a pool last year and our summer went by sitting in the house.  My husband and I saved and got a great pool this year. It is an above the ground pool. We just have to finish the deck and landscapping around it now. That will have to happen next summer! We have been enjoying the pool especially my son! He loves it!
The supplies I used on this layout are The Paper Loft, FabScraps, Fancy Pants Designs, Freckled Fawn, Ranger Ink, Tim Holts, and Kaisercraft.  Thanks for stopping by!

New Glasses/Scrap Our Stash Sketch + 3 challenge

Hello everyone! I have a layout that I want to share with you that I did for the Scrap Our Stash challenge.  Here is the sketch/challenge and my layout:

From the List 1, I used Simple Stories (embellishments) and red.  From List 2, I used the collection "Quoted" from Teresa Collins and white.  From List 3, I used an uniball pen and the color blue. My son's glasses finally came in! He looks so much older with these new glasses. I still can't believe he is starting the 5th grade in two weeks!

No Pictures!/The Memory Nest

Happy Monday everyone! I have a layout that I did first thing this morning for The Memory Nest Make it Monday Challenge #65 for their summer challenge.  Check out The Memory Nest details on the summer challenge here!  Here is #65 sketch and my layout:

I used the collection Mama-razzi 2 from Bo Bunny.  As you can tell from the pictures, my son hates to have his pictures taken.  I usually have to bribe him or "sneak" to get a photo.  Sometimes I have to take what I can get.  I will be glad and pray that he will get out of this stage soon! Thanks for stopping by!

All Wet/Scrappy Friends Challenge

Hello Scrappy Friends,
I have a layout that I want to share with you that I did for the Scrappy Friends Challenge.  Below I listed each challenge with a link to their website and then my layout:

The supplies I used for this layout are Freckled Fawn, Jillibean Soup and Bazzill Basics.  I took Brenda's sketch and turned it on its side.  I used an arrow paper clip that I got from Freckled Fawn.
These pictures are from our vacation last month.  We went to play put-put golf one evening.  We went to Dinosaur Adventures.  They had model dinosaurs and some of them would squirt out water.  I got Noah to stand by one and next thing you know it soaked him! Best of all I got it on camera!  He loved it!
Be sure to check out the Scrappy Friends Challenge! Thanks for stopping by!!

Ahoy!/Challenge YOUrself

Hi everyone! Happy Tueday! I have a layout that I want to share with you that I did for Challenge YOUrself.  Here is the challenge and my layout:

Here are some close ups:

Every year during our wedding anniversary we go to the beach for our family vacation.  Each year we  also go to Harbor Walk and take a boat ride on the Sand Blaster.  This is really the only time I can get a good picture of the three of us!  It is one of our best times while at the beach!
I used the sketch pretty close to it, but I changed the place of the title.
The supplies I used are Basic Grey and Bazzill Basics.  Thanks for stopping by!!

Good Times Await/Scrap Our Stash Challenge

Hello everyone!  I have a layout that I did for the Scrap Our Stash Challenge.  Here is the challenge and my layout:

Here is what I created:

Here are some close ups:

For this layout I was inspired by two things, the circles in different sizes and travel.  I used five different pattern papers and the round wooden sprinkles from Jillibean Soup.  I took a selfie with my husband and my son when we were leaving for our vacation to the beach.  I love how my husband is easy going.  We take our time getting there and sometimes stop in different towns just to see what is there.
The supplies I used are Jillibean Soup, Recollections, Ranger Ink, We R Memory Keepers, Sizzix, and Bazzill Basics.

Thanks for stopping by!

The supplies I used on this layout are: Strathmore, Hedi Swapp, Echo Park, Paper House, Faberr Castell, Bella Blvd., Kaisercraft, and Hero Arts.

The supplies I used on this layout are Bazzill Basics, Kaisercraft, Amy Tangerine, Studio Calico, Tim Holtz, and Ranger Ink.  This is a snapshot I took of my husband and I while we were on vacation at the beach.  He hates having his picture taken so anytime I can get a picture with him smiling, it is worth scapbooking! Mr. Goggle Boy/The Memory Nest

Hello Scrappy Friends! I hope everyone had a great fourth of July! We did, lots of work on the house and yard, and much needed just spending time together! Anyway I have a layout that I want to share with you that I did for The Memory Nest challenge.  She is having a great summer challenge.  All the details you can find on The Memory Nest blog here.  Here is this cute sketch and my layout:

I really like this sketch! There are so many ways to use it! I decided to keep it simple.  I used a layering stencil from Tim Holtz and different distress inks.  The paper came from Echo Park's collection Paradise Beach.  The thickers are from American Crafts.  I also used some Dylusions Ink Spray, London Blue, for some splatter.  Thanks for stopping by!
